(tip book in advance as it is busy at the weekend)
Just astounding food, lovely service, everything perfect. We visited as a family with two small children, and everyone had amazing food from starter to pud.
Café L 'Abbe is a gorgeous little family run restaurant in Brinnon. It looks like a house from the outside and has a old world feel inside. The menu has a good enough selection with plenty of French delicacies to chose from, then there are added...daily specials. We ate here twice as a family. The childrens menu is steak burger and chips with ice-cream but they were happy with that. We tried a variety of food including the andoulais sausage, steak, salads etc. The desserts were absolutely lovely too, a real treat! The owner speaks some English which was very useful as he could translate the menu for us! He was very friendly and helpful. Pretty good prices, a 2 course meal for 4 with wine and soft drinks was around 100 euro. I would advise booking as the 2 Friday evenings we ate here it was very busy with lots of locals. We would definitely recommend trying this restaurant. We were staying in Les Alicourts which was only a 15 minute drive away from here.
