Unfortunately I could not try the tacos because pepe was too busy talking to 2 women who were visible sick and constantly coughing deep, plegmy coughs. pepe had bauberatung for. her and standing there, told them all about his connections for 15-20 minutes after I had just placed my order for 3 tacos and a mixed drink. he recognized my order, but then not. he just wanted to talk to the ladies. the people think he is quirky and cute, and many of the reviews tell them that they have to wait for their food forever (and that pepe normally recommends to get against 3 tacos because they are really big, but he wanted to let me wait and then serve too much). So 20 minutes go by while I sit and tempo around and pepe flirt with these sick stupidies. pepe was wasting my time and disrespecting me. I finally went out, he had not even started my order or drink. I know that mexiko is moving differently. it is a much slower, more casual tempo. but pepe really did it, and considering that he knew clearly that I was waiting, it seemed almost intentionally- as if he had let me jump through hoops for his supposedly amazing tacos. I'll never know because I don't like the guy anymore. He's not cute, he's not annie. there are other great fish tacos out there. do not let this guy waste her time.
I visited pepes tacos after I saw that it was highly recommended by travel bloggers. I went with some friends and we all loved our tacos, the portion sizes are brilliant and pepe used a great selection of ingredients to expose his tacos. while pepe invited us to try a cooking class. we returned the next day and joined pepe to make our own tacos from beginning to end with its original recipe! for 350 pesos we have our cooking classes, 2 tacos and 2 cocktails! what a wonderful experience recommend! also the best veggie tacos I had since the arrival in mexiko, they will beat hard!
The best tacos in all mexico! the taste was simply amazing.
Pepe seems to enjoy notoriety for his colorful personality and delicious fish tacos. Unfortunately I didn’t get to try the tacos because Pepe was too busy talking to 2 women who were visibly ill and constantly coughing deep, phlegmy coughs. Pepe had construction advice for...them and stood there telling them all about his connections for 15-20 minutes, after I had just placed my order for 3 tacos and a mixed drink. He acknowledged my order but then didn’t make it. He just wanted to talk to the ladies. People think he’s quirky and cute, and a lot of the reviews tell you that you’ll have to wait forever for your food (and that Pepe typically advises against getting 3 tacos because they’re really big, but he was going to let me wait and then serve me too much food). So 20 minutes go by while I sit and pace around and Pepe flirts with these sick dummies. Pepe completely wasted my time and disrespectful me. I eventually walked out, him having not even started my order or drink. I know that Mexico moves differently. It’s a much slower, casual pace. But Pepe was really pushing it, and considering that he clearly knew that I was waiting, it almost seemed intentional- as though he was going to make me jump through hoops for his supposedly amazing tacos. I will never know because I don’t like the guy anymore. He’s not cute, he’s not a genius. There are other great fish tacos out there. Don’t let this guy waste your time.
