I visit spoon regularly and love the variety of salads and sandwiches. the coffee is consistently well done and all the staff are super friendly!
Awful. Just off a long haul from Scotland. Ordered a long black coffee and a Cappuccino. Asked for a white bread cheese and tomato sandwich. Coffees made first and sat out for ages going cold. The girl presented me with two slices of toast nothing on them. I told her I had ordered a cheese and tomato sandwich with white bread. Some time later I got a cheese and tomato toastie! I asked what part of cheese and tomato sandwich with white bread they didn 't understand! The cook then finally gave me my sandwich. I then found that wasthe therec was very thin and there was no butter in the sandwich. Oh, and our coffees were by this time tepid at best. We were so tired we couldn 't be bothered complaining further!Terrible!
Ordered a $7.50 Roast beef sandwich to eat on train home. The sandwich was many days past its best. The bread was hard. Definitely check if buying food the dates made. Would give a zero if able.
Unfortunately, Spoon is no longer in operation. Please be aware that this restaurant has closed down, becoming one of the many casualties of COVID-19.
