1st course of calamari was tough, service poor and the $43 surcharge for Christmas Eve (not a public holiday) was a rip off.
Got the 5 course degustation and the food was excellent. They even catered well to my coeliac allergy
A little disheartening, Italian style restaurant…. menu, unfortunately 4/5 mains were pasta’s. Fish the only other option but position of the fish was tiny 38) accompanied with Spanish croutons sauce-ish…. My Fish was Cooked a little over, not an Italian dish…. Fish with Spanish sauce ? What’s Italian, the fish lol… not Italian enough… and off the mark. Personally I go to Italian restaurants, to Eat good Italian food. Sides little 16 for Vegies and 14 mash lol, happy to pay if!)on point… but not this time) I asked for recommendations but fell a little short… service can have a little fun and banter with customers, knowledgeable staff are great staff training may need some work.. I personally miss Great Service. Maybe they had a off night? T.B.C
The food at Vine is high class. The wine list is good. Quality is not cheap but you need to try this established restaurant. It’s still going strong
