The atmosphere was pleasant and peaceful. We appreciated the minimalist wooden decor. The food was delightful as well. Although it is somewhat pricey, it is definitely worth it. I highly recommend it for enjoying a lovely meal with your loved ones on a special occasion.
It was truly a delightful and refreshing experience. Although we were the only diners in the restaurant on a Friday afternoon (where are you, Brisbane?), the service was efficient, comfortable, and informative. The location has a unique charm, situated in an old corner store building in the suburbs—this likely contributed to the small number of patrons. The seating was comfortable and not cramped at all. And now, the food—wow! We opted for the lunch degustation, and it was simply spectacular; the diversity and flavors were incredible! The wine list, while featuring some more affordable options, also includes a few excellent selections. Thank you, Miskin Street, for making our 25th wedding anniversary truly memorable.
This is the second time I have come to this establishment for breakfast , my first time was for a champagne and truffle degustation breakfast , today I got the house smoked salmon , confit potatoes , sour cream on toasted rye and bottarga. The food here is delicious! Everything is on point and I do not have a single complaint except wanting more food ! I would highly recommend this place , the staff are friendly , the room has simple but a warm decor about it , I will be back very soon !
If you want a quiet yet sophisticated breakfast then drop into 85 Miskin. On entry there were only 1 or 2 other couples and we got served straight away. The coffee was one of my favourites, Tobys estate, and packed a awesome punch with the flavour not lacking from first to last sip, I also enjoyed a Macchiato as well as my coffee and this was magnificent!!! Had the four course meal for brekky (breakfast degustation) and was very enjoyable and cooked to perfection and presented well, only downside was the third dish had a slow poached egg and everyone else's egg yolk was runny except mine, it was over cooked. Also had my favourite bacon, maple bacon and would have liked it crispy, it was rendered well but just needed to be cooked longer for the perfect crunch. All in all fantastic service, good price, loved the peace and quiet to start the morning but most of all loved the company that was with us.
