The English breakfast meals are very good, but make sure to ask for butter if you want it. The wings are better when there is a variety of flavors available on wing night. Unfortunately, the buffalo wings have been removed from the menu. The BBQ is decent, but the peri peri flavor tastes like plain capsicum. The wings can be inconsistent in size and sauciness. Sometimes they are big, juicy, and saucy, while other times they are tiny and lacking sauce.
The Beach House in Springfield does a great job of offering a relaxed, family-friendly dining experience in the area. The portions are generous, perfect for those with a big appetite, and the staff are welcoming and great with kids. They often have specials, making it a good value for the price.
The Pasta Carbonara was particularly delicious, with perfectly cooked al dente pasta, well-seasoned, salty bacon, and plenty of mushrooms. The portion sizes for all our meals were generous and very filling. The Beef ribs were a standout dish, as you can see in the photo. One thing to note is that there is a 15% surcharge for public holidays at this restaurant. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be returning. The food was excellent, the service was quick (we arrived early to avoid the lunch rush), and the prices were reasonable despite the surcharge.
Easter lunch at Beach House Bar Grill and expectations exceeded. Only confusing thing was no one on the floor to show us to a table, not a worry as we found one but was a tad strange.<br/ <br/ Didn't get my normal Steak but opted for the works burger which didn't disappoint, accompanied with very well cooked beer battered fries, cooked just right to the point the potato was soft and flavourful with a beautiful crisp exterior. The works burger was presented well and had the right amount of filling on it with perfect amount of sauce, the combination of everything plus the perfectly cooked pattie made for one great burger. Considering they had 15% surcharge for public holiday two meals for two people was under $50.
When we go out with our friend we usually end up at the Beach House Bar Grill because of their cheap and good menu and the large amount of seating. We usually go for dinner so when we went to this new one at lunch I decided to get the lunch special spaghetti and a pot of tea. The food came out almost instantly it seemed and the spaghetti was great. The portion was also small so I could actually finish it all but I was still pretty full by the end. The service was friendly at the counter and the self serve for cutlery and such was easily accessible.
