This restaurant was very good but unfortunately it is closed now, The food was good and the service was always friendly. The waitress always remembered my friend and I and always give me rice noodles instead of egg noodles in my Laksa
This is a pleasant little cheap Chinese food joint. There's a wide range of interesting food on offer, you can BYO, and did I mention that it's stupidly cheap? This is a very pleasant place to get some friends, a few bottles of wine from the nearby bottle-o and have a fun Friday night. The menu is remarkably varied and the food very good for the price. The downside? You can tell it's a cheap eats place - furnishing, cuts of meat, wait staff, they've cut corners anywhere they can (I don't mean the wait staff are bad, just that they're obviously extended family members, so their skills can vary). So it's not for first dates, or people with delicate stomachs, or those who can't handle MSG overload. But for a night out with friends, it's really good.
Second time visiting this restaurant and the price is so amazing, 3 plates, 2 bowls of rice, deep fried ice cream for under $50... it's also BYO so you can being your drinks! Always good for a group occasion as well; as they have indoor and outdoor seating!
Having a day of craving for good Chinese food and reminiscing about our frequent visits to the Dragon Inn. We celebrated my Father's 70th birthday here as well. The food is divine and very similar to the foods we found in China. The service is friendly and wonderful. My favourite dishes are the seafood ones, the whole fish with crispy baked skin and the ginger and shallots scallops are not to missed!
