Hannibal Lebanese, located at the intersection of Elizabeth and Cleveland Street in Surry Hills, is known for serving delicious Lebanese food at affordable prices with generous portions. It is considered a local institution and offers excellent value banquet options and meal deals. We tried the vegetarian plate and mixed grill, and we definitely left satisfied. This restaurant is a fantastic place to enjoy a satisfying Lebanese meal without breaking the bank.

I have been frequenting this restaurant for the past six months and have never found any faults. The food is excellent, and I always recommend this place to my friends. The manager is friendly and hospitable, although the staff can sometimes be a bit slow to respond or not seem rushed. However, the quality of the meal always makes up for any delays. I suggest visiting with a larger group so you can try a variety of dishes. While the prices may feel a bit high for just two people (ordering hummus, a salad, and chicken/lamb), splitting the bill among a group of four or more makes this place the best affordable dining option.

Hannibal Lebanese Restaurant is quickly becoming my top choice for Lebanese cuisine in Surry Hills. With tasty dishes at reasonable prices, this place offers delicious Potato and Coriander (cut into squares and marinated in spices), Fried Cauliflower, Garlic Bread with Za'atar, and more.

Had heard about this restaurant because of the amazing food. We booked a private dining room as we had a group of us. The room we had was decorated completely from floor to ceiling, big arabian material tented the roof, decorative flags, big cushions to sit on the floor and dine Lebanese style. Fantastic atmosphere and great food, so authentic. Private dining rooms are the way to go. Food was non stop we had the mezze plates and everything was delicious. During the night, loud music started playing and we had our own private belly dancer perform for us for about 15 minutes, lots of fun. Will return again!

Perfect amount of food and royal treatment even visiting on A Groupon gift voucher. Good atmosphere and authentic feeling decor and music. Each dish was full of flavour and nothing was too spicy.Will definitely return for more.
