Most meals come with a size of chips/sweet potato wedges/mash/baked potato. The food is all very tasty and presented well. The service is very timely and the waiters are very attentive.
The food was basic, the service was ok but it is way overpriced. The sweet potato chips were burnt and the steak was nothing special. We had to wait for our pre booked table for over 20 mins. Unlikely to go back.
I've been this place for many as it is close to my home. I have to say the service there is always being nice and friendly. However, the quality of the food is not very consistently good. Because they pre-cooked their steak, I can't always have my steak as I asked for.
It got the franchise of the year. We went there around 630pm without booking but the restaurant was full. The waiter politely asked us if we can wait at the bar for around 20 mins. After around 20 mins, he came and got us a table. It was kids eat free night for Monday and Tuesday too. My 4 years old son ordered a kids cheeseburger with juice and ice cream included for free! We ordered the pork ribs and the limited edition steak with bugs. The kids meal came very quickly however our main meals came a bit late due to a large table. However the waiter that looked gate our table kept coming to apologise and give us updates. We feel really welcomed and happy.
We frequently eat at this particular Hog's Breath Cafe. Even without a booking in a busy time such as a dinner rush we're never waiting more than ten minutes to be seated. Majority of the time I will order the curly fries because I'm addicted to them and the barbecue sauce and an entree like the bruschetta or calamari. They also offer great lunch specials and I've had a delicious chicken caesar wrap during that time. My partner will always order a steak with a different side and he's always pleased with the chef's cooking. The only desserts I've tried are the mud cake and fondue and while they're good with the new San Churro opened opposite them I've been going there for dessert after. The staff are always very friendly, engaging and eager to check up on your experience.
