Lahn Thai - Brisbane

We have been visiting this restaurant since we moved to Brisbane around 6 months ago. Very nice place located in Sherwood with beautiful and colourful decor inside the restaurant. The service is lovely and Nunoo is always very welcoming. Surprisingly they also have a quite large vegetarian, mostly vegan menu we can choose from. The dishes are very authentic, deep in flavour and spices and also can be made Thai hot if you like. The vegan menu has very good options of mock meat: 'beef ', 'chicken ', 'fish ' and 'prawns ', plus the normal tofu expected in vegetarian/ vegan dishes. We were delightfully impressed by the vegan options and quality of the food offered in this restaurant, and so, we highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great vegan food. Price is slightly more expensive than other Thai restaurants but definitely worth it. I also recommend the vegan black sticky rice desert, very yummy! It would be good if the vegetarian/ vegan menu was also available online, as well as the meat menu, so people could plan ahead before going to the restaurant.If this restaurant was fully vegan I would certainly give 5 stars. Vegan or not, you should go and try the vegan options for yourself. BYO : Cheers!

Lahn Thai is a Must. As rugby season rolls around again, I am excited, as the group I go to the Reds with, meet at Lahn Thai before the game and have the best Thai food in Brisbane.While they were closed last season, during their move from Graceville to Sherwood, we tried many other places, but nothing came close.Do yourselves a favour, eat at Lahn Thai and do it often.

Serve size was a bit on the small side for the price, the food we ordered was amazing though, very tasty. The waiter was very friendly and welcoming also. Overall great food , lovely staff, but definitely a treat night out dinner rather than a mid week dinner as it was just a little on the to expensive side for us. BUT would definitely recommend.

Excellent food and friendly exceptional service. The recommendation of the duck main course was absolutely spot on. We will all be back as soon as we can!

Cosey environment, book for 5 was set at time of arrival. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the shared coconut rice on the table. The chef's special duck was delicious just enough with the rice. Our group said they would go again.
