We had seafood, chicken, and lamb pizzas. The crusts were thin and well cooked, the toppings were all fresh and tasty ingredients. My husband asked for extra chilli on his seafood pizza and it arrived just as he likes it. The price for these lovely pizzas could not be more reasonable. Have been coming for years, and will continue to do so.
Great pizza and top service. Happy to go there often. Excellent topping and the crust is amazing!
We' had dined here previously in 2007/08 when this venue was receiving decent reviews and, therefore, decided to give it another go last week. Upon entering I should've been alerted by the overall look of neglect as compared to previous visits. Old magazines and papers in the 'takeaway waiting section' etc. The chairs were grubby as was the paint on the walls and all the steel/glass needed a good clean and polish too. Our waitress was so casual she was almost comatose, although the distinct lack of customers and subsequent level of boredom probably had a lot to do with that. And the lack of customers was probably not because of the decor but the food itself. We chose a 'new' pizza - 'Haloumi the Greek' described as Haloumi cheese, kalamata olives, lamb, chilli flakes, oregano and lemon wedge ($16.90) and 'Mixed Seafood' described as "No Marinara Mix here!" Prawns, scallops, mussels and calamari with 100% mozarella and mild chilli oil (also $16.90). To put it bluntly, the pizzas were the worst I have had (apart from a frozen Papa Guiseppe's). The bases were wet and soggy and insufficiently cooked. Toppings were measly, the haloumi cubes were almost too small to sight, the thinly sliced lamb meat gristly, tough and overcooked. So flavourless infact I squeezed all my lemon over hoping to taste something, anything! I wished the seafood pizza Had contained Marinara Mix because it probably would have tasted better than what was on this pizza. I had asked for some garlic to be included and there were literally teapoonfuls of it blobbed all over the pizza. Greenlip mussels (yuk) were the biggest bits of seafood, the few strips of calamari were tough and scallops minute and again, only a few of these and about 3 prawns. The 'kitchen staff' was more interested in having a chat with another guy (the senior staff) who was up and down on a ladder the whole time we were there. Neo's displayed claims of 'award winning pizzas' should be removed. The only award they could hope to win with what we were served would be 'worst pizza in Australia'!
Apparently, Neo has won awards for its pizzasThe experience I had with some takeaway from Neo, however, was not of an award-winning establishment.
My girlfriend and I once had takeaway pizza from here using a coupon (2 for the price of 1).
