I think running Taiwanese cusine should be the most appropriate strategy here because there is none in CBD area and the nearest Taiwanese eateries are all located in Sunnybank. Well, took a Groupon deal to have lunch today. Ordered the light meals from the allocated menu. Braised Seafood Rice and Stewed Beef Noodles. Portions are reasonable and taste good as well. Dishes are quite homey and reflect the authenticity. The beef brisket is tendered and noodles are smooth and soft. Despite they only serve us glasses of beer in a spirit glass, service is friendly with smile. Extra mark is given for the watermelon served after we have finished the meals. I do wish their business go well and busy....
One of the better Taiwanese beef noodles around in Brisbane albeit taking a while. No parking hassles as there's free and ample parking.
I was pleasantly surprised by this place. The service was friendly, fast, and attentive. The food arrived quickly and hot. The quality and quantity were excellent. It's worth going off the beaten track to eat here. They even showed up at the table with watermelon for dessert without asking.
Bit sick of the usual Asian around the city which consist of mostly Japanese, Thai, Chinese, and Korean, so decided to come here for a change. The beef noodles were so good! Fragrant broth, tender beef briskets and smooth noodles. The beef brisket rice my friend had was really good too. Very tasty. Servers were attentive, we were also served watermelon as dessert at the end which we don't quite find anymore these days. Really liked it ❤️
Authentic place, good food, cheap beers. something different from the stock standard Chinese, Thai and Vietnamese in the area. Hopefully this place will last, worth a try.
