Henbury Balti House - Bristol

In a small establishment, the staff was very friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The customers were mostly locals, who were also warm and full of compliments. While they don’t serve alcohol, they allow patrons to bring their own for a small corkage fee. The food was amazing, with a fantastic selection. The portion sizes were generous enough to leave me and my colleagues, who are usually very hungry, completely satisfied. I would definitely recommend this place and will return if I'm in the area again.

The curry was beautifully done, and it’s conveniently located near us. I recommend trying the house special. The service is always friendly and welcoming. We enjoy dining in, although they do have tables indoors as well. The portions are generous, not overly oily or spicy—just perfect for our taste. They also offer a special dish each week, and the prices are reasonable. Thank you! I’ll be back soon.

The food here is really delicious! However, the meat dishes are just average, so I usually opt for the vegetable curry. I can't recall the name of the server, but I really enjoyed the curry that had plenty of whole spices in it.

Fantastic! we are going back. this is one of the best Indian restaurants in bristol at the moment. always a friendly greeting when I arrive to collect a takeaway something I've made a lot recently because eating is so good. everything really tastes fresh and you can say that they use the right ingredients and the cooks know what they do. I tried the chicken bhuna and chicken ktikka rezala and they were pefect. so many interesting dishes on the menu, I will try some more. not eaten so far, only takeaways, but must go soon for 'sit down'. it is byo for drinks. always surprised that such a fantastic little restaurant 't busier is as it is always quiet when I visited. it deserves to be busy as eating is great, it is very good to run and the prices are reasonable. if they are this side of bristol, I recommend to them to try it soon.
