King William Ale House - Bristol

Beautiful pub in the center of drink-ville a little quieter than the others, but worth a look, as the beer is not their usual fair.

Was a great example of a decent affordable boozer, but now price have risen, and supply issues seem to be affecting the beers available. Still a great pub, just not the outstanding value it once was.

I used to love Sam Smiths ales, and their pubs, bit this one was a sad act unfortunately. The barmaid was on good form though, and served promptly and was very friendly. The ales were of a reasonable standard but the prices have risen drastically since I tried them last... I think better offerings are available in Bristol for a similar price point.

New management from December 2022 they are beautiful and the prices are below. the bowls will soon be blurred and it will be like the good old days, I guess. soon again!
