Georgine's - Bristol

The smell was not the best, but I thought with all the different (Seafood) food options, I could manage. I didn't care how the bread was presented ( sitting naked on an old and coloured cutting board), so I didn't eat it. Our waiter was very knowledgeable, but also a whole character. When he bought our drinks and food, he slammed them every time on the table, which was something unusual, often spilling some of the drinks on the sheets. Now for dinner.

The food (for my family of 4) was great. It is over 20 years f/m last visit. I suppose to visit Georgine soon. The only negative problem while Dinning in the Dinning Room area (where my family was sitting), there were occasional Gnat bugs (or Fruit Flies) flying around table. It is my hope that restaurant owner(s) can read this message can preventative measures against its dinning area.

Excellent and pleasant Restraunt. Great portions. Great service. Our reservation was quick and ready. Family vegetables were served delicious and cooked for perfection. Everyone in our party of 10 was satisfied and had leftovers for taking home.

Eat here a handful of times and it's always great! Can't go wrong with a chicken stall or striped steak. Old school inside but I love

The restaurant could use some updating. It appears to be pretty popular as there was little to no standing room at times as we waited to be seated. When he bought our drinks and food he slammed them on the table each time which was a bit unusual, often spilling some of the drinks on the linen. Now, on to the food. I ordered stuffed mushrooms with crabmeat. They were delicious! I also ordered broiled scallops and shrimp over linguini which was also very good. As you can see, the portion sizes are really big so needless to say, we took some home. This restaurant was recommended by a coworker and overall it was okay.
