The food was very good, but the service and pace really ruined the experience. We waited about 20 minutes to receive our drink orders (wine/beer, so not overly complicated) which wouldn’t have bothered me too much but the food came about two minutes later. Though it was tapas style, all the food for four people came at one time, which led to a very cramped table and a rush to fill our plates and eat quickly to have room for the other dishes on the table. It was a strange and hurried experience for a tapas restaurant, and it didn’t seem all that busy or short staffed at the time. Our entire dining experience was over in about 45 minutes, without time for our table to really enjoy each other’s company.
Consistently great food and so lovely to be surprised by new flavours and spice mixes. I would continue to give five stars but I miss the option of a single main course and the specials board, it has all switched to mezze only. Having said that, I’ll still be returning and recommending to my friends.
Had dinner yesterday (second time in a few months) and again the food did not disappoint (although we definitely ordered too much last time). Had a good combination of yummy dishes, we shared four between 2 people, plus flatbreads and I had a dessert (which I definitely didn’t need it). Would highly recommend, nice atmosphere and friendly service. Thanks.
Friendly staff, good service, eye-catching food. Mostly delicious with a pricey cost. The berries in my desert were still a bit frozen and too icy to eat.
February 2022; Amazing delicious food! Can’t even pick our favourite and excellent cosy atmosphere! Definitely on the list of best restaurants in Bristol! Updated on 29th April 2022; Visited for a graduation early dinner. The staff were extremely kind, the service was perfect, and the food was exceptional! Every dish has so many flavours! A must visit!
