Akedo Showten - British Columbia

We had a great experience at this restaurant, and the food was delicious. The seating in the interior is a bit cramped, but the plastic partitions provide a nice touch of privacy. The ramen was excellent—definitely creamy with a wonderful texture and flavor. The only downside was the limited options for vegetarian ramen. Unfortunately, they didn't offer tofu as an addition, and there was only one type of broth available for the vegetarian ramen, while the meat options had several broth choices. Despite this, we truly enjoyed the ramen and look forward to returning in the future.

They serve truly creative and authentic ritter dishes here, reminiscent of what I've enjoyed at a genuine Japanese restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City. Although I haven't tried one in Japan yet, my friend who is a fan of Japanese cuisine was very impressed at the time. Just a heads up, the restaurant is quite small, so it may not accommodate larger groups, and you might have to wait for a table to become available. However, it's definitely worth it. I'll be recommending this place to others and will return myself!
