Zlatá Lod - Brnenec

The food is good, the place is always crowded, which gives you a lead on the quality of the pub. A downside for me is the beer, which gives me the worst hangover ever. But it's a restaurant from the brewery, so I'm not sure if they deserve one star less for the beer, or I'm the one who deserves 1 star less for going there knowing it People speak English and they had huge screens for football games at the world cup, I loved watching a game there.

Dobrze zlokalizowana restauracja z miejscowym piwem. Jedzenie bardzo smaczne, widac ze przygotowywane z dobrych jakościowo produktów. Obsługa bardzo miła i komunikatywna. Ceny adekwatne do jakości jedzenia.

This restaurant has very convenient location at main square (Náměstí Svobody) and it's easy to find. The interior is nice and modern. It has comfortable sitting booths. We had a simple but very common dish in Czech cuisine (smažený sýr — fried cheese) and as a dessert Bramborové šišky s mákem (Potato gnocchi with poppy seeds). Both meals were tasty but a bit to overpriced. We visited other places nearby offering a similar menu for better prices. Less quality for value compared elsewhere.

Zlata lod je prostě zlatý průměr, jídlo mi přijde dobré, menu přes oběd je průměrné ale potom třeba večer z karty je fajn, pivo/víno super. Interier se mi moc líbí i jejich pojetí menu. Design velmi pěkný! Dá se navíc platit kartou, což oceňuji ale vadí mi, (stalo se několikrát) že když chci zaplatit právě kartou, musím jít s obsluhou ke kase.. to jako vážně? Jen obsluha někdy dost pokulhává. Jednou vás obsluhuje super číšnice, která vám doporučí a poradí od vína až po kdoví co, milá a vstřícná prostě top, a druhý den už tam máte někoho oprsklého, který si vás nevšímá a na kterém jde vidět, že by chtěl být nejspíš kdekoliv jinde než tady. Na tom bych asi trochu zapracovala. Do Zlaté lodě chodím a asi ani chodit nepřestanu ale beru to spíš tak, že sem zavítám když je všude jinde plno.

Favorite spot in náměstí svobody, beers are really good and its realy cozy and calm during the afternoon. Menu is also really good. I really like this place.
