Bluestone Lane Venice Beach Café

I am really impressed by the atmosphere of this charming café. The matcha quality is outstanding, making it an ideal place for breakfast or brunch. I tried the breakfast board, which included avocado toast (you can add a poached egg for an additional $3) and a lemon curd yogurt parfait. Everything was delicious and artfully presented. The staff was friendly and welcoming. This café is certainly a fantastic option for brunch any day of the week!

I am really excited that a Bluestone has opened near me! The cappuccino was delightful, and the BLATE was exceptional. Our order was ready right on time for pickup. While dining in, the QR code on the tables made ordering quick and convenient. The food was perfectly cooked, and the iced tea was fantastic, especially with the refreshing breeze by the riverside.

The staff at this restaurant is outstanding—very friendly and helpful. However, it seems that the location's operations could use some refinement. They looked a bit overwhelmed and might have benefited from some extra assistance. The takeout food and drinks I ordered were just mediocre. The bread was slightly burnt and stale, and the tea tasted a bit diluted. Despite this experience, I’m eager to return and dine in, and I will update my review afterward. Overall, I would rate the meal at 2.5 stars, but I would give the employees 4 stars for their warmth and kindness.

The food is fantastic, but the service is exceptional. Jada and Nico made my first visit incredibly welcoming by taking the time to explain the menu and share their personal favorites. They were also very attentive throughout my meal. I will definitely be coming back!

I was pleasantly surprised by the lovely seating area! My flat white was very good—definitely better than many other nearby coffee shops. The bowl I ordered was also delicious! It had the perfect amount of vegetables to keep me energized throughout the day, and the scrambled eggs were cooked to perfection. It is a bit pricey for lunch when you take everything into account, so I think it will be more of an occasional treat for me.
