Cafe Katja - Broad Channel

What a great find. Place is always packed, but in a good way. The waiters are friendly attentive and fast. Unpretentious great food and service. The fried chicken thighs with mashed potatoes were out of this world. Beer is always fresh and the atmosphere is lively. Would absolutely recommend going during these cold winter nights.

Amazing! The elderflower margarita, hickory smoked salmon, and trout amandine are to die for. Beautiful and cozy atmosphere with excellent service, I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!

Cafe Katja is a long-time favorite, with delicious dishes throughout every part of the menu. You can't go wrong with the pretzel to start, over a pint. Then the bratwurst or emmentaler and those are both delicious, including the accompanying dumpling. The burger is also a great choice, the buttered and toasted brioche bun is an excellent addition. Excellent service! Interestingly run by Spanish speakers- at night they play Latin music. Food is so delicious- the schnitzel, bratwurst, and pretzel (a bit small). Their mustard was so spicy
