Il Posto Accanto - Broad Channel

We had a lovely impromptu Saturday night dinner in this pretty, buzzy “Loisaida” Italian resto. The maitre d' found us a sweet table for two. The spinaci and portobello mushroom apps, and veal piccada special, were sooooo good.

Loved it! Everything we ordered was great. Frito misto, pasta, wine. The staff, lovely and engaging.

Fantastic Italian food. Starting with a perfect focaccia, wonderful burrata, then two brilliant pasta dishes. Made us feel like we were in Italy.

Me and my teenager daughter had a very nice lunch here. Nice staff.

One of my all time favorite restaurants in NYC. Fabulous standard menu (special shout-out to the cavatelli), with a rotating menu that changes daily based on what the owner found at the local farmers markets — incredible! Ambience is also incredibly cozy and intimate, owner’s husband greets the tables and is extremely kind. Impeccable service, extensive wine selection. 10/10 all the way!
