Koko Wings Cajun Seafood (1st Avenue)

I typically order the garlic soy wings, and they are absolutely delicious. I once mistakenly ordered them plain, and even without the sauce, they were fantastic! Be sure to try the highball; it offers a delightful mix of alcohol and soda, but don’t expect to get tipsy—after all, it’s only $3! Another dish worth trying is the egg and bacon fried rice. I wasn't sure I would like it at first, but it has become a favorite, so sometimes I skip the truffle fries in favor of it. The chicken tenders are grilled before being sauced, which adds a wonderful grilled flavor. I've tried them in both soy garlic and a new BBQ-flavored sauce—definitely give that one a go! There are so many delicious options on the menu that I could keep raving about it for hours, but I encourage you to experience it for yourself. Order small to save some money; the wings are a good size and definitely not the tiny “pandemic chicken” portions you might fear. I hope you enjoy your meal if you decide to visit!

I called the restaurant to check on my delivery status since it didn't arrive within the expected time. Unfortunately, their voicemail said they don't accept calls! So, I had to contact Seamless for assistance. They almost canceled my order because they couldn't reach the restaurant either. The food finally arrived 30 minutes later. Overall, a terrible experience! On a positive note, the food itself was good, but the delivery service was awful.

I had the most disappointing seafood bag I've ever encountered and ended up discarding nearly all of it! They shouldn't label it as Cajun because it was utterly flavorless and had no connection to real Cajun cooking. The fried rice and seaweed salad were okay, but it's hard to go wrong with those. I definitely won't be returning, and I recommend that others avoid any Cajun dishes they serve.

This is an amazing restaurant that I highly recommend. The ambiance is fantastic, and the food is top-notch. However, I was quite disappointed to find that they advertise a wide range of drinks but don’t actually have them available, which felt a bit odd. My friend and I were eager to try some. Nonetheless, it’s still a delightful place to eat!

I can't believe I've been living so close and only just found this restaurant! I'm thrilled to have discovered a fantastic place for Korean fried chicken in the East Village! Their fried chicken is exceptionally tasty and full of flavor—definitely superior to many other spots! I particularly love the variety of flavors, especially the spicy and soy garlic options. If you're a fan of spicy food, you absolutely must try the buldak chicken to share! It's topped with cheese and mixed with chicken, onions, and rice cakes. We also ordered their fried dumplings and sweet potato fries, and everything was outstanding!
