La Gran Uruguaya - Broad Channel

I had a few drinks here with my wife. Very cool. Decoration is authentic. We didn't eat but we looked at the menu and the food they brought out for people looked and smelled delicious. Oh and everyone sang happy birthday

Do yourself a favor and go to ?El Chivito de Oro? just one block away if you want to taste authentic Uruguayan food, this restaurant is more a bar than a restaurant food looks good taste is a disaster the only good thing is the bakery next to it apparently is from the same owner I recommend the bakery but avoid the restaurant at all cost?

This bakery is a really nice feel to it. They have Great Sweet! I really like the flan cake. I also enjoy the tres leches cake. This bakery has been here for a long time and I can understand why. Unfortunately it's only a cash establishment so you better have your cash on you.

I ordered mollejitas and look the pictures !, the gizzards were burnt... also the quesadilla estaba quemada. We could not eat the mollejitas like that. Then we ask for the check and we had to wait almost 25 minutes to get the check. Look like the chisme between the waiters were interesting than to take care of the customers. This restaurant used to serve delicious food, not any more, that is sad.

The food was good But when the bill came!! On the bill they already charged 20% for the tip and plus the taxes. Really? It was my partner and I. Only 2 people. I feel restaurants are taking advantage of the pandemic, but earning money is hard for everyone. In conclusion, they ruined my time and I am not coming back
