Really small cafe in JFK serving Italian fare with a decent wine and beer list. The chicken parm and margherita pizza were OK but just hanging out here killing time for my flight and drinking a beer with the bartender was that old school airport experience I thought was gone forever. Great job.
Decent enough food to kill time at JFK. But the conversation with Ken was what kept me here for my 8 hour layover from Chicago to London. Even gave me a cigarette or two to have outside the airport on the smoking section and gave me a lighter. Ken is a really cool dude/worker/human being. If I'm ever back to JFK in this Terminal I'd be sure to check to see if he's working that time. And an update to prior reviews, apparently they can make food to go now.

This place is overpriced and nasty. I paid $34 for a chicken caesar salad which is ridiculous. Not only that, the salad was a small portion and the chicken was very under seasoned. I do believe our country can have plate sizes too big but for the love of God, give people more lettuce. Oh and the caesar sauce was whack. You can find better food at a bodega. It was a cute atmosphere thougg. But that's mostly because it's in the TWA Hotel so yeah, one star.
Panini was excellent. Beet salad was surprisingly good. Much better quality than the food court.Vegetarian options: Beet salad is small but good.
