The restaurant is divided into sections for dine in and takeout customers. The takeout line is sometimes v long and they don’t let takeout customers sit in their dine in section nor use the restroom ?????? :/Their fried chicken is very good if you can get it freshly fried. The skin comes rly crispy. If not, it can be soggy and not nearly as good. You can buy an add on egg for $0.75 and individual pieces of fried chicken or pork chop : for about $3. A whole plate is only $8Wouldn’t recommend: The black pepper version of both is just a yellowish sauce splashed on top; it’s not marinated on the meats. Stir fried rice cakes are meh.Recommended: pork chop over rice w pickled vegs and chicken if it’s crispy. Sour veg soup
Not the healthiest food but definitely yummy and price is very reasonable. I especially like the Shanghainese Fried Rice Noodles here with a side of a soy-marinated egg or picked vegetables. To get any stir-fried dishes, I’d recommend you call in to order in advance to avoid a bit of a wait time the rush hour.
One of the best deals in Chinatown! I love this place. Always get the black pepper chicken leg over rice with an egg and extra sour veg and it’s only $8.75. A thing of beauty
Despite being such a popular spot, I not have a good experience at May Wah. My chicken fried rice made me sick. They used the gritty end bits you typically toss when preparing chicken and it was undercooked. The dish also lacked flavor and didn’t have any seasoning.
