The sambar was literally like water with no lentil in sight. The coconut chutney was alright. Overall underwhelming experience.
I just loved it. Been wanting to try the dosas from here for years and it did not disappoint. The portions were huge and the service was so great. I think it’s one of the best samosas I’ve had also, really delicious and made with love.
Heard a lot about this cart, so my friend and I went here to try it out. Line was very long. It took us about 45 minutes to get to the front which I was fine with given the food cart’s popularity. When we were third in line, the owner started asking what we wanted to order. We assumed he was talking to the people in front of us until he got irritated and said “Hey! I’m talking to you” or something to that effect. He also had a lazy eye which made it hard to tell he was making eye contact with us.When I got to the front, I asked him how much it was, and he told me to venmo him $14. I later saw what I ordered was $10 so that and a bottled water which was $1 should’ve totaled up to $11.The food itself was pretty good, but I got less than good vibes from that guy, so I doubt I’ll be back.
Well well, this was on my bucket list. It is located conspicuously at the Washington Park. If you take a walk around you will spot their truck. The wait time was average 2 hours. Dosa tastes aa dosa but the experience is worth standing in the line.It is closed on Sundays and other days open between 11am to 3pm.
While strolling through Washingston Park we came across a line up and noticed it was for NY Dosa. We had heard about the great dosa so decided the join the line. It took us a while to get our dosa and a Samosa but both were great! Time actually flow by as we chatted to others in the line up. Must say the wait was worth it. Keep up the good work Thiru.
