The Ichiju Sansai was perfect. It was my first time trying the Japanese Breakfast Set and I started very well. Can’t wait to go back.

This is a wonderful and very Japanese experience. At the moment it’s take away only but there are two choices for seating out front — tables and some wooden rafters. The rafters were nice in the sun to enjoy a bento and Pilsner. I can’t speak highly enough of the method, quality of ingredients or presentation. Good and distinctive food, as expected. The “eggs and bacon” cold noodles were SO GOOD. Had to order Grub Hub pickup and get it from a window — there was no ability to see a menu and order, as far as I know, and the menu was pretty limited. I was disappointed in my overall experience (though I understand, everyone has to draw their own lines in a pandemic) because I had hoped to browse the market while I was there, but oh well. Impeccable quality seafood perfectly prepared. Really kind of a special experience. Clearly a labor of love.
