Food is really good. Shawarma plate is so delicious. People are awesome.

My first visit to Omar's was 2 weeks ago and I was just passing by, thought the food looked good, and thought I would try it. Took the Chicken shawarma pita home with me. It was delicious. Today I walked 1.5 miles out of my way to satisfy my craving for another. I was not disappointed. Spicy lamb is awesome and the chicken pita is life changing

Usually the restaurant is on point. 2 events today that are leaving me with an unfavorable opinion. 1) a strand of hair in the chicken shawarma 2) rude tone from cashier. my bf was on the phone and heard the man. my bf asked me what the guys problem was talking to me aggressively. the cashier had reiterated, quite loudly, their choice of sauces as though I had a comprehension problem to begin with. My only go to for shawarma in Manhattan! So so good. Everything from the hummus to the shawarma. Very authentic Middle Eastern cuisine.
