Paradis Des Gouts - Broad Channel

This is/was one of my favorite restaurants in NY. I legit think about my usual order of lamb shank/jollof rice/plantains at least once a week. I miss it so much. Please come back.

The best African food in NYC. The lamb stew and couscous are amazing. The food here seems very authentic and the staff is very nice. The cooking time can take a bit but it’s definitely worth it! Be sure to look at their day of the week menu for special deals. HIGHLY recommend!

Stopped at this place out of curiosity. I've had home made African food before, but never at a restaurant. What an explosion of flavors in my mouth!! I loved it!! I had the jollof rice special with fish. The first time I had the white rice, and the second time I had the yellow rice. Both good! Amazing food, reasonable prices. Just ask them to bring out a nice meal for two if you're on a date and they'll pick something amazing out for you.
