Visiting from Canada, we ate like royalty here, enjoyed the back terrace with the frescos, some nice cocktails and wonderful service. Those meatballs!
I visited Polpette 71 on December 31st, and I was pleasantly surprised by the tranquil atmosphere, which stands in stark contrast to the typical hustle and bustle of New York City. Nestled near Central Park, this restaurant is a hidden gem for anyone seeking an intimate dining experience. The soft lighting creates a warm and inviting ambiance, perfect for savoring their exquisite dishes. The food here truly deserves all the accolades it can receive. Each plate is prepared with great care, showcasing a harmonious blend of flavors that are both bold and subtle. The meticulous attention to detail enhances the overall dining experience significantly. The service was friendly and thoughtful, contributing to the enjoyment of the meal. It’s also commendable that they provide all-gender restrooms, though it's worth noting that there is no wifi available. Overall, Polpette 71 is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates exceptional cuisine in a cozy, dimly lit environment. It’s a delightful way to enjoy a meal in the heart of New York City.
The food was fantastic! The veal tortellini was truly exceptional. We arrived for lunch, and it wasn’t busy at all. I highly recommend it!
I had my first Italian dinner in NYC, and it was fantastic. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and the food was excellent—especially the Red Snapper Fettuccine Carbonara. I plan to try a few more dishes before awarding a full five stars, but it’s definitely a great choice!
