We got our appetizers 30 minutes later (now 5:30) and they were very simple. Now 6:00 we still haven’t recieved our entrees, we let our waitress know that we had somwhere to be at 7:00 and asked how much longer it would be. We ended up just asking for our food to go. 2 people from my party received their food while I did not. It would be another 30 minutes if i even decided to wait for my food. As I watched people walking in and out and being seated they all received their food before us. Horrible service wouldn’t recommend.
My boyfriend and I love trying new restaurants. This was the best meal we’ve had this year. The service was excellent. The presentation was beautiful and the food was delicious. We will definitely be coming back!!!Food: 5/5
I've been wanting to try this place since it opened. What better time than summer?PROS:Very friendly staffFast and attentive serviceChef circulates to ensure/ask if food is goodYou don't feel rushedGreat drinksGreat dessertsThe branzino was deliciousClean restrooms15 minute walk from the subway station B, D, #4). Bus #6) to subway is across the street.CONS:Too dimly lit. Even in the middle of the day you can't see the menu.Uncomfortable seating. Hard chairs and wooden benches. To their credit, they've placed decorative pillows for you to lean/sit on. However, in this day and age, who's using a cloth pillow that hundreds of other customers have rested upon?FINAL THOUGHTS:I thought the salmon, pasta, and lobster ravioli were going to be my forever go-to's, but they didn't taste the same/as appetizing on subsequent visits as the first time. The pear and arugula salad was good but just a bit too salty. I'd try it again and ask for no salt next time.I think this is a welcoming, reasonably priced place to come and relax over drinks and dessert, and I would return in the future.
Horrible food. Extremely small portions. Does not look like the menu. If you want lemon for your food, they charge you $4. Unbelievable. Save your time. Plenty of better options around.Food: 1/5
I love it here! The look and feel of this place is the kind you find in Manhattan or big cities. Great bar-restaurant for the South Bronx. Great staff, good menu; I have had their brunch, lunch and dinner. The food and bar are very good. A tiramisu and cappuccino that's to die for too!Vegetarian options: There are about 2 or 3 vegetarian options on their menu, I will be trying them soon.
