Sam's Deli - Broad Channel

What kind of place in New York on a Saturday night can’t make any kind of burger at 10pm? The chicken Parm that I had instead had stale bread, cardboard chicken, and a very boring marinara sauce. Do not recommend this place for sandwiches, but it seems to be a nicely stocked little deli, otherwise.

Awful service. I went to this deli, because I was in the area, and the sandwich I got was awful. I was not helped by someone friendly, but by an employee with an off putting scowl. I felt like the man behind the counter believed it was a privilege for me to shop at this store. Never again will I go back.

Don't waste your time or money. Cons: Cash only. Multiple insects flying around. Doesn't taste good. Pros: People were kind. Food was inexpensive. Ordered a roast beef sandwich. No bueno. Go somewhere else.

The food was excellent, but the prices were a bit high. The cost of two bags of chips and two cans of soda was the same as two sandwiches. It would be better to just order the sandwiches here and then head to another spot for sides.

It was my first time trying a chopped cheese, and it definitely lived up to my expectations.
