Contribuisci feedbackIt 's been 5 years since my first review but I still recommend giving this GUYANESE, WOMAN-OWNED business a try when one is looking for fried tilapia or red snapper or now whiting. Yes, I did have to be that specific because I wouldn 't want anyone to get the wrong idea about this place. The restaurant setup is simple and reminiscent of the chip shop in the West Indies but with a Suzy Homemaker fryer taking care of business. There is beauty in simplicity but even better there is good fish and chips to be had at this place. I come here occasionally to get tilapia with French fries which is still $5 and never greasy but always well-seasoned. The tilapia isn 't the thin-frozen-filet type but more thick and boneless cut. I even enjoy the pickled onions and carrots that serve as a garnish. I also put a generous amount of tartar sauce, ketchup and yummy spicy pepper sauce. This place keeps it real simple here which isn 't a bad thing given that they have been able to generate enough business to keep them open throughout the years. Stop by if you are in the area especially since the menu has modestly expanded to now include sweet potato fries and a few beverage.
I love this restaurant, real fish and chips the way I love it !!!!! You should try it!!!
Very Tasty ,well seasoned I will definitely be coming backp Especially on a Saturday when my little brother is closed yup!! Eat out night .Fish chips it is
Great fish and chips! Swear I'm here every week. Soo gooood!
This place is the bomb. Especially when they have whiting. All they serve is fish and fries, but they do it really well. The habanero sauce is great if you're into that.
