The roll has a bit too much scallion but very generous uni portion. Mazemen was a little cold by the time we got to it, just because appetizer and entre were served at the same time so it was sitting out for a while. The bone marrow was a little bit too sweet but still good. Foie gras sushi is a fun combination. Eel is standard and good.
It is a good, warm and cozy, Japanese restaurant. Limited options for vegetarian and portions are small.
Food was so well represented and delicious! Try the chirashi Box! Rather than a bowl of mixed seafood and rice, it comes in a omakase like box of 6 different fish. 5 stars!
Senya is the best Japanese restaurant I’ve ever been. They use very fresh and quality foods. 100% recommend!! And sorry for the wrong doctor review my bf posted lol.
SenYa has the FRESHEST fish i've tasted in Japanese restaurants in the city. I've always been disappointed with paying for expensive omakase only to be disappointed by the quality/freshness of the fish and the cuts. SenYa did not disappoint. Fresh fish alone gets this place up to a five star, but the flavors are equally as amazing, it does such wonders to your palettes. Each dish we ordered tasted deliciously interesting, especially liked the chirashi and snow crab mazemen! Easily my favorite j … – show
