Sushi Seki - Broad Channel

Pretty good but I’ve had better sushi. I liked the sushi dinner, shrimp tempura, gyoza Shu mai.

So this was the Teriyaki Chicken, came with a small side of white rice — $30. GTFO here — definitely never ordering from here again.

Service was extraordinary, atmosphere was great, food was quality but standard.

We had sushi omakase at the Sushi Seki Chelsea, and it was great. The chef was knowledgeable and skilled, and the food was phenomenal — nearly every piece. The snapper with jalapeño foam and the salmon with torched tomato were awesome. The otoro and chutoro tuna were well balanced with lemon and truffle salts, and the rest of the 12 pieces meal were excellent too. Great omakase at a good price. So glad they switched to Hokkaido sea urchins from the last time I was there, they're delicious. I've been here twice and the omakase has been spectacular each time. The spicy scallop handroll at the end is also really nice.
