Tacomida - Broad Channel

First time trying this place out and it was delicious. I ordered the green rice bowl with shredded chicken and the flavors combined was on point. Will definitely back!

I had been wanting to visit Tacomida for a while and it did not disappoint! I visited for brunch last Sunday and loved their options. The chilaquiles were delicious, the eggs and steak were perfectly cooked, and I appreciated their willingness to make me and a friend some mocktails. The tacos were amazing and left me really wanting to come back to try the rest of their menu!

So...I left my review from two years ago below so that you can see how this restaurant has gone down hill. We were ordering from them every Taco Tuesday, and we're GREAT customers, but it's time to stop and move on. I was disappointed when they began taking favorite tacos off the menu and nothing to replace them. We used to order their nachos which were good. Now, the nachos we ordered have a blob of meat on them and nothing more. Obviously thrown together for take out like the rest of their food. To be fair, it appears that their chefs care very little about take out and it shows by the poor quality of the food we receive. Tacos are cold and many times a mess in the box. We always order the Brussels sprouts which were awful this last time and always different. They were undercooked and under sauced. Again, they don't care about their take out service. When you pick up food, they never ask to include utensils, napkins...nothing. Basically you pretty much can't do take out here and get quality food. It's time to move on and find a new, favorite spot! Tacomida is not worth the stop...or...the money. What an absolute fantastic find when we checked out Tacomida tonight. The restaurant is clean and very comfortable. It is decorated In a very upscale way. We ordered many different tacos and all were fantastic. They are well thought out with complex flavors much different than your cookie cutter taco places. We tried their Margaritas which tasted authentic and reminded us of being on vacation. Tacomida was easy to find and has lots of parking right around the corner from the front door. I can't wait to go back and try more of their great dishes! We'll also be there for Taco Tuesday and their fantastic happy hour from 4 to 6. Right in the middle of downtown Shelton, this restaurant should not be a secret!!

Went for the first time with the girls was welcoming we were sat in nice corner area everything was good just one little mis hap with one of the orders but the manager was very respectful handled the situation in a professional manner and adjusted our bill accordingly no questions ask which i really appreciated our waitress was lovely and courteous overall had a good time would definitely go back..

First time here and it was amazing. Very clean and friendly staff reasonable pricing on tacos and the sweet plantains (DELICIOUS) the fish tacos were to die for. I would go back again, must try!
