The food and service was great, mango lassi is the best. The owner Bhanu is really nice guy that provides great service. Can't wait to try more off the menu
The Nepalese food is amazing! The vegan dishes were clearly marked too, which is very convenient. I couldn't suggest thing restaraunt more highly.
Okay, I love Nepali, Tibetan, and Indian cuisine, but this place misses the mark. There’s very few Tibetan options, so I’ll only really comment on the Nepali side of this experience. The smoked butter chicken won out of everything we ate. The flavors were on point and everyone loved it. The lamb momos were typical and somewhat flavorless until you plunged them into one of their “chutneys”. The worst dish was the duck curry. Whoa! Riddled with bones and completely inedible. The flavor was good too, so it really left the table disappointed. Over all, I probably won’t be back. Plus, they need to work on their environment. I know we all love having an experience, but damn, no one wants to eat in a restaurant that looks/smells like Nepali public restroom.
This is my favorite go to Nepali restaurant in Manhattan. I love their vegetable chomein and their momos (steamed, kothe and jhol). Yesterday I was craving jhol momos very badly and didn't have the time or energy to go to Nepali restaurants in Queens so went here. The jhol momos were amazing and very delicious! My friends also love their aloo paratha and vegetable biryani. A must visit when craving momos in Manhattan!
