The Flying Cock - Broad Channel

One of the best happy hour spots in NYC! We stopped by for some drinks and dinner and we really enjoyed everything. The Bar Share Tower was delicious and came with three choices of bar shares. We got the Korean Style Wings, Spicy Tuna Tartare Tacos, and the Nachos. My favorite were the tacos and all of the main dishes were incredible. The Proper Fish and Chips were crispy on the outside and the Bacon Mac Cheese was super cheesy and the Steak Frites were super flavorful.

Very nice waiters, got me a table quickly without reservations, they were caring and the food and drinks were delicious!

I haven’t been to this place in such a long time so I was happy to finally come back, the food was really good, some of the food was a little too salty for me but from start to finish the service was poor. The attitude that the bartender gave was crazy, actually killed my vibe, I didn’t even want to ask her for anything. The service was just terrible, never cracked a smile, she gave me dirty looks everytime I asked for another drink. Safe to say I won’t be coming back here, extremely disappointed.

Even though the place was pretty crowde on a Sunday noon, we were able to find a table. Our waitress was nice and efficient taking our order and getting our drinks. We order hamburgers. They were not bad but they were not great either, just a little dry. The fries were good though. Music and atmosphere were good.
