The Standard Biergarten - Broad Channel

Nice place for casual drinks, large selection of german beers, and ping pong tables:

Cool space, outdoors but protected, pricey but that's the hood, and so so beer…

I loved this place,but unfortunately the service is not good. If you want to order food, you have to beg for someone to serve you. I talked to three attendants and they said it was not up to them, that I needed to look for someone in my area, but there was no one where I was. Until I went to the bartender, a Brazilian (Diego/Diogo). As an Austrian expat I was hoping for a somewhat genuine Biergarten experience, but unfortunately this place was a disappointment. The German beers on tap are all bad to average and were terribly poured (with no head) and the pretzels did not taste genuine, were faaar too salty and didn't come with butter, as they usually would in Austria or Bavaria (we even asked for butter and they said they didn't have any).
