The Viand - Broad Channel

OMG- just stumbled on to Viand and the food is excellent. Perfect portions and delicious. The bartenders are also amazing. They made the perfect old fashioned!

Food is generally good but they make takeout orders difficult. No easy access to where orders are picked up. Simple requests like putting ketchup, salt, and pepper on a fried egg sandwich are ignored. Instead they give you dozens of packets. No wonder they charge nearly $12 for a fried egg sandwich.

The hospitality’s and the service is fantastic as is the food. really recommended

The service was great. They have an brunch special which offer a nice variety.

I had high hopes for this place but the food was really not up to par. Hot chocolate had a burnt funky taste to it. I took two sips and left the rest. They ran out of dulce de leche French toast so I ordered the Nutella banana one. Part of it tasted like bacon, almost like someone had put bacon on top accidentally and then removed it or used the same utensil to handle bacon and the French toast. Horrible! Yuck! Please avoid and go elsewhere for brunch.
