I really want to give five stars but it was too loud and only has one bathroom where people have to wait in line most of time and because it’s a small space restaurant, those wait for bathroom would actually impact the dinning experience for those tables that’s close to bathroom area, it also impact how staffs work (to place the order on their POS machine). Not much a date night place unless you need loud surrounding sound to fill the blank.
We came at the recommendation of a friend who's been here before. I was excited about most of the menu items. They're all tapa style so the server recommended 2—3 dishes per person. We ended up only getting 7 for 4ppl. We had someone with a nut allergy and someone with gluten allergy so food options were limited.
We had a variety of dishes, the service was great as well as the ambiance. The sauce with the plantain had great flavor and spice to it, but it was a bit disappointing to pay $12 for 1 plantain. The popcorn chicken, mac cheese, duck empanada, and ugly potatoes were amazing. The chilaquiles were a bit underwhelming and the edamame dumplings were undercooked though.
Tasty small plates with unique concepts. Seafood Kimchi Paella was the standout. Chilaquiles were a miss. Worth a stop.
Incredible food. Soju was great too. Highly recommend almost everything. Gnocchi and plantains were standouts.
