The location is good, just a short walk from Times Square. We were promptly seated at 5 PM. There was only one other table dining at the moment. Restaurant got busier by 7 PM. We had excellent service. We ordered several appetizers, including oysters, salads, and a wagyu steak tartare, which was phenomenal. I ordered the chefs cut ribeye, which was perfectly cooked. My kids all had the filet mignon. Steaks came out on time, with sides (lobster mash, mushrooms). Everyone had perfectly cooked steaks. My only complaint was at the end— waiter knew we had a 7PM show, and when we asked for the check at 6:30, it took 15 minutes for him to come back with it. Im not sure what the delay was, but we ended up being late for our show. Annoying. In the end we had a great meal and will likely be back.
We visited on Friday night. Surprisingly it was not completely full. Waiter wasn't paying attention (on couple occasions he just walked away). From the appetizer: Tuna was good. Beacon was very salty and charcoal. The biggest disappointment was steak. My friends complained about overcooked meat. Mine porterhouse was undercooked. However, meat wasn't a good quality (hard to chew). Therefore, it is not a place to have a good steak. For sides: I would recommend mushrooms. For $330 per couple you can definitely find better steaks in NYC.
Most of the food was good but missing something. The Brussels sprouts are amazing but when you receive a nice cut steak and ask for it medium rare, it’s a miss when it’s well done. Unfortunately after waiting too long I decided to eat. Disappointing meal due to my meal being way over cooked!
I had a French onion soup (really very good), a burger and the signature dessert (butter cake with vanilla ice cream) which serves for at least 2 people. Everything was very good.
Truck not here. Plus, just googled and the listing says permanently closed.
