Wolfgang's Steakhouse - Broad Channel

I found the salad of my life here. The servers were friendly and the steak was delicious. It felt like the space between tables was narrow, but overall I was satisfied. It was a restaurant that made me realize why New York is famous for steak. I plan to visit again.

First of all, it was really noisy so it was difficult to have a conversation with my companions. The bread was cold, so even if I put butter on it, it wouldn't melt and the yeast taste was so strong that it was tasteless. The steak tasted just average, but the meat quality was good. The Caesar salad was just average. I ordered porterhouse for two, but it was so large that the two of us couldn't eat it all. Although the servers looked busy, they were mostly friendly. The seats are a bit narrow, so there are times when servers or customers bump into each other as they pass by. It's worth a visit at least once, but is it a store you really want to visit?

Super busy and very popular, but it did not disappoint. It's truly worth the visit at least once. Great for business entertainment!

The staff treated us so poorly. They wanted the table so they stood over us asking us to quickly order dessert. When they dumped the check when we were eating dessert also wanted us to check the check and pay. The manager didn't care that we felt rushed out. He just said sorry you felt that way. The waiter said the manager makes us do that. It's a terrible way to treat a family of 7. It was a huge bill and they could care less. Never going to return. We use to frequent the restaurant. We are done. There are plenty of other great steakhouses.

The food , service and restaurant has been a favorite of mine for many years. The prices, however have gone thru the ROOF! We (2 people) , had a total of 3 drinks, shared a chopped salad, had porterhouse for 2, shared a spinich order and 2 coffees. With tax and tip, this was close to $300.00 ! I think this is excessive and the place was far from full. I hope they can find a way to cut back the prices a bit.
