Del Forno Blairgowrie

We got takeaways from Del Fornos a few weeks ago and it was absolutely delicious. <br/ <br/ The ingredients were so fresh and so tasty. The pizza wasn’t too doughey and there was a great contrast between the amount of sauce and the amount of cheese. <br/ <br/ Also think it’s quite good value for money. Would definitely get another pizza from here soon.

You have to go on a Thursday for the live music! Stunning little place with a massive menu for everyone to choose from. Great family vibe but lots of couples having date night too due to the romantic atmosphere. The service is outstanding, Carlos makes sure everyone feels welcome and takes the time to memorize regular customers names. We went for a birthday dinner and he arranged for the staff to sing and dance with the Birthday Boy which was special. <br/ <br/ Our food was delicious, we had the salmon starter and the Caprese. For mains we had woodfire pizzas that were great. Loved the range of vegetarian options! The rest of the table had steaks, which they enjoyed despite one being a bit tough although not overdone. Dessert we shared the cookie dough doughnut and a few got chocolates were ordered. Such a fun evening! Highly recommend for a relaxed vibe. <br/ <br/ Try the sangria!

Love it when my local pizza place makes a pizza just for me which is not on the menu. Well spoken lady took the order with no hassles. Very friendly. Although they were busy we received our pizzas via delivery in less than 25 minutes. Chicken liver pizza was devoured as was the chourico pizza. Eaten too fast to take a picture. Well done Pizza del Forno Blairegowrie.

I haven’t been in Blairgowrie Plaza for a year or two but the other day I was there with my daughter.Things were much as I remembered them including the Pizza del Forno waterhole.When we lived nearby we had ordered many good takeaways from it so we didn’t hesitate to go in for lunch.The pizzas are almost as good as they used to be, or perhaps my memory is playing tricks with me.I remember the crust as being thinner and crisper, and the Breakfast Pizza was a little short on bacon. But they were still very good.I’m glad we went back.

Delicious pizza, fairly prompt service, and they were happy to make me a half and half pizza, but the charge was a more than I thought. Normally for a half and half you pay the full price of the most expensive one. Here they charged slightly less than each full pizza as a half pizza charge which made it quite a lot more expensive. All in all, a decent meal, but not the best in town. John Godwin
