Fishaways

Had a craving for fish and chips...and since I don 't know of another cafe close by we decided to give Fishaways a try. Not bad, i will defs order the large hake next time, if the medium hake was so small I don 't want to know how small the 'small hake ' is. Very fresh though, enjoyed it !

Great reception, and host at service desk! <br/ <br/ Don't normally rate take always, however had the urge, as the food was Super Fresh!<br/ <br/ Main focus point was the staff cleaning with passion! You can tell it's spotless, and all equipment is shiny!!! <br/ <br/

This place is a monthly take out selection, the fish is always tasty and filling.<br/ <br/ We usually order delivery the delivery service is super fast : <br/ <br/ We opted the fisherman's platter, with rice and got a fish cake on the side. The calamari was addictive could not stop nibbling!!<br/ <br/ Since my review, they have added some new items to their menu lovely combinations!! A definite must try.

Service is always good.  Food outstanding.<br/ <br/ My favourite is usually the fishcake.  I loooooooooove their fishcakes!!!!  For R13, a big round of crunchy golden outside and fish heaven inside.<br/ <br/ So Tuesday, 21 April 2015, I decided on a fishcake for lunch.  But then my eye fell on a poster ... Beach Bites.  12 Fish Pop Bites for R19,90.  I asked the friendly girl behind the counter are these bites like the fishcakes?  Yes, she said.  I ordered them.<br/ <br/ While frying the fish pop bites, I'm thinking ... will it be as good as the normal fishcake I order.  My order is ready ... I walked out, my hand opened the bag and I bit into a hot, crunchy fish bite ...  oh my gosh!!!!  It is deeeelicious!!!!<br/ <br/ Driving a few blocks to home, I squirt over the lemon juice ... and started to gobble up these beauties.  And then I realised ... these Beach Bites are actually better than the fishcake.  Cause one gets a WHOLE LOT more crunchy outsides!!!!!!!!<br/ <br/ This is my absolute new favourite dish at Fishaways!!!!!!
