Nando's Blackheath

Was in Joburg a couple of week's back and decided to try out the original Nandos on a cold chilly night. Now...surprisingly though its been quite a while since Nandos opened in Bangalore...i've never tried it in Bangalore ! Good that i tried it first where it originated or was founded : Even though their first store was established in Joburg in 1987...it is actually from the Mozambiquan Portugese community. Tried their 1/4th Chicken with their signature Hot (Piri hpiri Sauce...with a side of Rice and their special Garlic Bread. Didn't The chicken is flame grilled and splattered with their special piri piri sauce. Mind you..the hot sauce itself was pretty hot and i was going for my ice cold beverage after every bite. Good i did not try their Extra Hot or Extra Extra Hot...; The chicken is grilled with the skin on...so if you are not a big fan of the skin...you can also try their boneless chicken strips without the skin or the bones... Must mention that the freshly baked Garlic bread was also super awesome...fresh..hot...generous filling of the garlic butter. We had two of those between the two of us. I will certainly visit the outlets in Bangalore too...:

This is theeee best Nandos ever. The quality of the chicken is and they listen to my specifications and boy am I specific with how I like my chicken.

Went to Nandos for lunch yesterday with my son. Food was amazing. Had the chicken burgers and the sauce was hotter than other branches so be careful when ordering here. Service however was really slow, they didn't have enough people waitering the tables even though it was lunchtime

Nandos concept store now opened! Love the food, service and new store design! There are also great additions to the menu! Always a favorite!
