Bear's Country Diner - Broaddus

Set in the heart of downtown Broaddus, this cafe has great burgers, chicken fried steak, shrimp, fish, froglegs, and more.

Pretty good food. The place is huge so never an issue getting seated. Service is not bad. Will eat there again.

So this morning we decided to take a couple of friends to what we think is the best food.....well not the case today! on sunday they have a buffet hey great,but whatever you do don't order food!!! you wont get your food until your party has already eaten all their buffet food. then finally I told the girl to cancel my order cause I had sat there for over an hour waiting on a chicken fried steak, low and behold she goes to the kitchen and my food is ready,bringing it to the table and its cold as a wedge ma'am I need a togo box. hmmmmm !!!!! as I go to the register the girl says,i didn't get my food because they are new waitresses, then blamed it on the cook having to prepare buffet and cook my steak. WELL THIS SOUNDS LIKE THEY EITHER NEED TO JUST PREPARE A BUFFET OR JUST HAVE MENUS,NOT BOTH CAUSE THEY ARE NOT ABLE TO HANDLE IT!

The food was over priced for what we got. The steak was fatty and tough. The service was horrible, the waitress wasn't attentive and made mistakes...
