Tfi Rackheath - Broadland

We visited today, family of 3 and our dog who was allowed in the bar or in the beer garden. The beer garden is lovely with plenty of well spaced tables and for younger children lots of play equipment. Very clean and well kept. Ordering can he done via app at the table or in the bar if you want to order with a human It was fairly busy but our food and drinks came in a reasonable time and the food was lovely. Chilli burger , scampi and children's sausage. All was presented well and tasted great and was reasonably priced especially considering how overheads and produce prices have rocketed. We also saw the carvery which looked delicious too so may have to go back for that. Overall a great experience, we will definitely go back and would definitely recommend.

We ordered on an app for delivery for the first time and had never visitied before but the menu looked appealing, even if it was a little on the expensive side, so decided to place an order. Once the order was placed, we phoned the diner to make an alteration to exclude an item and they were more than accommodating. Friendly member of staff on the phone. Food delivered on time and enjoyed. The next day, we decided to call in for a takeaway as we enjoyed their milkshakes. Unfortunately, the diner do not have the facilities to deal with takeaway orders 1:1 and we were charged over 20% more for like for like orders. When questioned the male bar manager was arrogant towards my enquiry and dismissed it. He did not bother to take the time to explain why the price difference occurred and was very argumentative from the off. I asked to speak to another manager who took their time to explain the price discrepancy and advised a way of ordering at a cheaper price, even if ordered via the app there and then in the restaurant, for takeaway. To add, while I was waiting for the other manager to arrive, I could hear the male manager moaning about my genuine enquiry in the back which was totally unprofessional. More staff training is needed as this tanted our views of this diner.

Fantastic well worth the money lovely food 10/10 staff really friendly. Anyone complaining about the food or Hospitality you should give your head a wobble best meal I have had in a long time. 6 very satisfied Customers

Don’t judge this place on it’s kerb appeal. It really is quite nice and it has a well equipped playground for the kids, with a blast from the past with the old oak tree slide that those of us born pre-1990 can reminisce of seeing in every good beer garden back in the day! The smokehouse menu was good and reasonable value. Most importantly the toilets were immaculate!

Food absolutely perfect, shakes are really the best in norwich. We have visisted a few times nows and always have a great evening the staff are always pleasant bar one miserable looking dark haired waitress who never smiles. Im not sure where some of the old staff have gone they were alot more attentive to the customers. I hope the one that was pregnant will be back soon, always happy smiling and nothing was too much trouble for her. As always great food and we will be back soon cant wait for the summer when we will be able to enjoy the great garden again
