Decided to stop here so we could make use of the electricity, as the BA moorings a bit further along haven't got power. Had a couple of drinks and moored up here for the evening, lovely friendly staff who helped us get sorted with an electricity card and whatnot. I had a bit of an accident outside (totally my own fault, fell over and badly broke my wrist, completely sober I should add!! and the staff were incredibly helpful in making sure I was taken care of and that our boat was looked after until we were able to get back from the hospital. Really appreciated their kindness! Thanks folks! Price per person: £1–10 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We visited three pubs by bicycle in the Cantley Strumpshaw area. One a lovely old pub by the river. The next one a major food factory in Cantley and the last a nice village pub but too expensive in Strumpshaw. The Reedcutters for us wins hands down. It 's most certainly a take us as you find us pub but the staff and the friendly locals make this a proper pub and probably the only one we 'd want to go back to. We didn 't get to experience their food but we 'll be going back to give that a try. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
