Waterside Cafe - Broadland

I have visited this restaurant multiple times since it reopened. I am a fan of the food and find it to be a great spot for lunch. The portions are generous and the quality of the food is excellent. I particularly enjoy the ploughman's dish. It can get busy and loud during lunch hours, but the surrounding area offers nice walks if you want to make a day out of it. This cafe is a hidden gem, especially in the summer when you can enjoy sitting on the terrace.

The restaurant recently introduced their winter menu, and we were very pleased with our meal. The steak and onion pie was delicious and clearly homemade. The ham, egg, and chips were also tasty and satisfying. The food was served piping hot and made to order, and we have visited this restaurant many times for coffee while out walking. We will definitely be returning for more of their amazing food. Well done, Waterside!

Had a breakfast pretty decent and price about average the bacon was very salty though. The down side, music was very loud so couldn’t have a conversation.

After being regular customers for months, we were disappointed to find out that the restaurant had changed its menu when we visited today. Unfortunately, the changes were not to our liking, as some of our favorite dishes like the delicious chili jacket potatoes and steak pie and chips were no longer available. The new options were bland and uninteresting. As a result, we decided to leave and will be dining at a different restaurant in the future.

Been in here a couple of times before had nice food disappointed with our visit today went at 2.30 went to order hot food and was told can’t have any as they shut at 3 pm it doesn’t state anywhere they shut the kitchen earlier
